This “As Seen on TV” gadget WORKS. I sauteed some cloves of garlic in olive oil and then added the zucchini strands. In a few minutes I had the best non-pasta I’ve ever had. I honestly prefer it to spaghetti. Serve with your favorite sauce. My first attempt at using this is pictured above. This thing is FUN. Now, it’s a cone of knives, so don’t stick your hand in it…and use a fork to twirl the veggies when they get small. It is much easier than the top that comes with it. Ingredient: Garlic Olive Oil
Roasted California Garlic Olive Oil
Dove olive oils are one of my favorite ingredients. I read the book Extra Virginity and learned about all the different grades of olive oils – which sent me on an online scavenger hunt for a better grade of ingredient.
This oil had SO MUCH FLAVOR it takes any dish from bland to sha-zam. I use other of their flavors, but this is the one I order over & over again. It goes with almost everything!
Ingredient: Ruth Ann’s
Ruth Ann’s Muskego Ave Chicken/Fish Seasoning
This blend of salt, pepper, garlic powder and lemon peel is one of my favorite go-to spice blends for chicken, fish and vegetables. I especially love it on kale, spinach, collards & brussel sprouts.
Ingredient: Roasted Sesame Oil
The best sesame oil I have found. Makes a great dressing for a Chinese Chicken Salad. Adds full flavor to stir fry dishes. I even add a splash to my ramen noodles!
Ingredient: Pasta Sprinkle
My favorite salt-free Italian seasoning blend. A mix of California basil, Turkish oregano, French thyme and minced garlic. Great for sauces and for including in salad dressings.
